Jade is a passionate and dedicated Physiotherapist with over 18 years of experience in private practice. After years trying to understand her own health issues and pain, she developed a passion for working with other individuals experiencing chronic pain and illness. Jade has a special interest and also lived experience with hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) and Chronic Pain, and the journey of working with this community and many years of specialised professional development have led to a deep understanding of these conditions and how they can vary from person to person.
Based in Croydon in the outer east of Melbourne and also via telehealth, Jade has worked with hundreds of clients with hypermobility, chronic pain, fatigue and disability. Her approach is holistic, with a focus on meeting her patients on where they are at and working together to set and achieve individualised goals.
Jade is also an AHTA Associate Hand Therapist and Clinical Pilates Instructor. She is passionate about using movement as therapy when and where it is appropriate and loves to tailor her approach to each individual. In the clinic, Jade uses hands-on treatment, strategies like taping and bracing, movement education and exercise to help her clients live better lives with their chronic conditions.
In her free time, Jade enjoys moving her body with pilates and yoga, bushwalking her dog, Oat, spending time with her nieces, and seeing live music.
